These are observational studies of middle-aged men in eastern Finland. They show a strong link between frequent sauna use and better outcomes, not proof that sauna alone caused the difference. A sauna is not a treatment for any condition. Traditional saunas don't plug into the wall.
Every traditional and hybrid sauna we sell needs a dedicated 240V circuit, 30 or 40 amps depending on the model. That is electrician work, not a weekend project.

Outdoor saunas need a level, solid base.
Set one on soft ground and the door starts to bind and panels gap within a season. Utah freeze-thaw makes it worse.
We level and gravel the site or pour a pad sized to your model.
Heat-up takes longer in January.
Plan on roughly 30–45 minutes to reach full temperature in mild weather, and longer when it is single digits outside.

How much does a sauna cost fully installed?
The sauna is the listed price. Installation depends on your site: whether you need a concrete pad, how far the sauna sits from your electrical panel, and whether your panel has room for a new 240V breaker. We price the whole job at a free on-site assessment and put it in writing before any work starts. (we don't provide electrical hookups, that will have to be done by a licensed electrician, which we have amazing contacts as recommendations).
Do I need a concrete pad?
Outdoor saunas need a flat, solid base. A concrete pad is the best long-term option. On some sites a compacted, leveled gravel base works.
Can I plug a sauna into a normal outlet?
Traditional and hybrid saunas need a dedicated 240V circuit, 30 or 40 amps depending on the model. Our indoor infrared Plug-in saunas have 120V plug, perfect to plug into the wall.
Will it hold up to a Utah winter?
Yes. Our outdoor models are built for exterior use, and a hot sauna on a snowy night is the whole point. Expect a longer heat up when it is very cold, and keep the path to the door clear.
How long does the whole process take?
Usually 1-2 weeks from quote to first session.
I live outside Northern Utah. Can I still buy?
Yes. Any sauna can ship as a kit to the lower 48. You handle unloading, site prep, assembly and electrical with local contractors.
What's the warranty?
Every sauna carries the manufacturer warranty: 5 years on electronics and 1 year on the stove. We walk you through it at delivery.
Is sauna actually good for you?
For most healthy adults, regular sauna use is well studied and considered safe. Long-term studies link frequent use with better heart and brain health outcomes. It is not a treatment for any condition, and anyone with heart disease, low blood pressure, or who is pregnant should talk to a doctor first. Read the research.
